Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management is more than just acquiring a range of competencies, developing skills, or a specific mindset that will help you better establish yourself in the business scenario.

Entrepreneurs are visionaries and their abilities go beyond handling resources and assessing investment. They need to be inspirational leaders creating a stirring and engaging ecosystem starting from a creative flair and a strong aptitude.
Students will participate in the three-week MIT Sloan immersion program, on the Cambridge campus, where they will have the opportunity to enrich their knowledge in a cutting-edge international context.
During the three-week on-campus immersion program, you will enhance your ability to think out of the box when facing challenging scenarios and react strategically and promptly to complex issues through classes developed from the latest research.
Moreover, not only will living in Cambridge/Boston give you the chance to experience first-hand the current reality of one of the most important international markets, but also to extend your network relationships, broaden your horizons, and nurture your aptitude.
The MIT Sloan journey doesn’t stop in Cambridge; it continues in Naples. At Parthenope University, 120 academic hours will be taught by MIT Sloan faculty. This part of the program is designed as innovative educational experimentation. Experiencing the expertise and the teaching approach of MIT Sloan faculty in a different academic context is supposed to be a stimulating and inspirational event in your educational path.

During the program you will have the opportunity to join a series of Global Expert Talks held by MIT Sloan faculty, business experts, and the high ranks of corporations and companies that joined a partnership with MEIM.
Seminars address the most critical topics in the field of business & innovation, including innovation ecosystems, machine learning, AI, clean-energy and sustainability. Each seminar will be co-hosted by local experts and MIT faculty and affiliates.
We created four labs for you, each one aimed at empowering and improving very specific skills and shaping an entrepreneurial outlook.
If you want to have a real impact in the business world, create the value that contributes to society and make a real change, you need to empower your soft skills.
Working on soft skills means adding value to your social and emotional intelligence that will allow you to navigate your environment, improve your interpersonal capabilities, help you to work well with others, and understand what people need.
In particular, our Soft Skills Lab will help you develop your social and people skills, your cognitive and emotional empathy, and your leadership traits. It will also give you tips to reach a psychological balance and develop the ability to work under pressure and handle stress.
We can say that hard skills are what you need to know, soft skills are what you need to be.
There are several differences between an entrepreneur and a businessperson or a manager. Entrepreneurs do not limit themselves to managing what is already there; they have curiosity, ambition, and aptitude to innovate change. They are the ones who want to improve the world.
MEIM wants to boost your entrepreneurial aptitude, building your skills and knowledge to handle the start of a revolution in the changeable business world.
Effective communication is essential to create a successful business, to reach credibility, to connect and negotiate with big stakeholders, and to make your way in the entrepreneurship world. Thanks to our Business English Lab, you will speak fluently and write properly the international language of business.
Being able to use the latest technology tools and business computer programs is not an optional choice to make a real mark in the future of entrepreneurship. The Tech Skills Lab is thought to improve your capability of using the latest digital business tools and to upgrade your business.
By joining MEIM you will be involved in a real-life work environment.
Before the end of the second semester, you and your colleagues and you will be divided into teams of four participants. Each team will be assigned a business challenge.
The project work consists in the resolution of real corporation tasks proposed by our partners. You will have three months to complete the task. The outcomes will be evaluated by an industrial evaluation committee.
At the end of the program, you will gain the opportunity to choose two different kinds of professional experience.
Our academic tutors and our partners will guide you to find the most suitable format for you in accordance with your academic results and your personal aptitude.
The options offered are an internship or a startup project. Both provide you with a high degree of expertise and are a concrete way to start your future career, either running solo or in a corporate environment.
Students who attend one of the following Master’s degrees at Parthenope University “International Marketing and Management”, “Management Engineering”, or “Applied Computer Science”, have the chance to join MEIM during their second year.
Therefore the students who, during the second year of one of the Master’s below, join MEIM and successfully complete all the tasks of the program, including the hands-on experience, will gain all the university credits they need to pass the second year of the master’s degree and graduate after their dissertation. They will obtain a double award, one for the master’s degree and another one for having joined MEIM.
